This project is a testing-only Certificate Authority (CA) for local development environments, providing automatic key pair creation with default expiration times of one year for CA certificates and three days for leaf certificates. It's designed for Node.js developers who need to quickly generate and manage SSL certificates for testing purposes without the overhead of production-level security. The package includes both an API for programmatic certificate creation and a CLI tool for manual certificate management.
