SublevelUP is a lightweight Node.js library that adds hierarchical “sublevel” namespaces to LevelUP databases by prefix‑encoding keys (via the prefixdown module). It lets developers create nested, isolated sub‑databases with the same LevelUP API—supporting atomic batch operations across sublevels and compatibility with level‑transactions—making it useful for anyone building complex applications on top of LevelDB/LevelUP who needs logical data partitioning.
