Culvert provides a lightweight, back‑pressure‑aware channel abstraction for JavaScript, letting developers pipe data between separate “logic” components without using Node streams. It implements CSP‑style put/take semantics with optional buffering and monitoring, making it useful for projects (like js‑git) that need simple duplex communication, continuable/ generator‑friendly APIs, and explicit flow control.
