Cortex is a package manager for web development that provides frontend package management with improved version control, development environments, CI solutions, and CDN services. It's designed for both large websites and collaborative development, allowing developers to write web modules similarly to Node.js without additional module wrappings or AMD. The tool is production-tested and was used by dianping.com's mobile websites and hybrid applications for over a year.
