This is a JavaScript polyfill that enables the CSS `object-fit` property on older browsers that don't natively support it, including IE 9+, Edge 18-, iOS 7-, and Android 4.4-. It works with images, videos, and canvas elements by dynamically resizing and repositioning them to match the specified object-fit behavior, requiring only a lightweight 3KB script with no dependencies.
