It works out the protocol, host, port and optional base path—honoring standard reverse‑proxy headers like `X‑Forwarded‑Proto`, `X‑Forwarded‑Host`, `X‑Forwarded‑Port` and `X‑Forwarded-Path`—so developers can reliably generate absolute URLs inside their apps.
