The **@sinonjs/referee‑sinon** package bundles the Sinon.JS mocking/spying library together with the Referee assertion library, exposing a single API (`assert`, `refute`, and `sinon`) that can be required or destructured in Node.js projects. It’s aimed at JavaScript developers writing unit tests who want both stubbing/mocking capabilities and expressive assertions without installing the two libraries separately.
