The **@binario/image‑optimizer** package is a Node‑based tool that generates multiple responsive variants (different widths and modern formats such as WebP and AVIF) for a set of source images. It is primarily aimed at front‑end build pipelines—currently offering a Gulp plugin (with planned Webpack/Rollup support)—so developers can automate image resizing, format conversion, and manifest creation for use in responsive `<picture>` elements.
