Monsieur is a feature‑rich Node.js development server that serves static files and compiles preprocessors (less, sass, jade, markdown, etc.) on‑the‑fly, with built‑in livereload, request logging, CORS, compression, proxying and cache‑backups. It’s aimed at web developers who want a lightweight, configurable local server for rapid front‑end prototyping and testing without setting up a full build pipeline.
