Barista‑core is a Node‑JS service that runs user‑written JavaScript “Barista scripts” in isolated, resource‑limited sandbox processes and exposes them as HTTP endpoints. It lets non‑developers (e.g., SharePoint or CMS power users) create and manage server‑side micro‑service logic without needing to deploy custom code to the underlying platform, using a module system similar to npm for safe, business‑level functionality.
