The ZephyrZealot project provides a Java‑based utility (built with Maven) that hooks into HBase as an observer to automatically replicate table changes into Elasticsearch for real‑time search indexing. It’s aimed at developers and operators running CDH/HBase (e.g., version 5.1.0 with HBase 0.98) who need to keep Elasticsearch (v1.5) in sync with their HBase data.
