We recently announced deprecation of JS v1 SDK and this repo. Starting September 2020 Microsoft will not provide support for this library. Existing applications using library will continue to work as-is. We strongly recommend upgrading to @azure/cosmos library.

The Azure Cosmos DB Node.js SDK v1 is a library for interacting with Azure Cosmos DB's SQL API from Node.js applications. It's designed for developers building Node.js applications that need to store and query data in Azure Cosmos DB, though it's now deprecated in favor of the newer @azure/cosmos library.
