The AWS IoT Device SDK for JavaScript v2 is a Node‑.js library that lets applications and embedded devices securely connect to AWS IoT Core using MQTT (including MQTT 5.0). It provides built‑in clients for core IoT services such as Device Shadow, Jobs, and Fleet Provisioning, supporting multiple authentication methods and advanced QoS controls, and is aimed at developers building IoT solutions on Linux, Windows, or macOS.
