Hreftypes is a small Node.js library that classifies hyperlink references into five categories—absolute, protocol‑relative, root‑relative, relative, and inline—so developers can reliably identify and resolve URLs when processing a website’s asset dependency graph. It’s aimed at web‑tooling and build‑system authors (e.g., asset graph generators, bundlers, crawlers) who need to handle diverse href formats programmatically.
