himd-js is a TypeScript library that enables communication with Sony HiMD devices, supporting both metadata management and audio file transfers. It allows users to read/write track metadata, upload MP3s, and—using a direct USB mode—upload ATRAC3, ATRAC3+, and PCM audio formats with DRM authentication. This project is designed for developers working with HiMD Minidisc devices who need advanced audio management capabilities beyond what basic tools offer.
