A lightweight, modern oEmbed client that lets developers register custom filters and whitelists to enhance or add oEmbed support for sites lacking native endpoints, while protecting against XSS attacks. The package was part of the ApostropheCMS ecosystem but has been deprecated and moved into the Apostrophe monorepo. It’s intended for web developers building ApostropheCMS projects (or any Node.js app) that need safe, extensible embedding of external media.
