The Apache Cassandra Node.js Driver is a fully‑featured client library that lets JavaScript/TypeScript applications communicate with Apache Cassandra, DataStax Enterprise, Hyper‑Converged‑Database and Astra DB using Cassandra’s native binary protocol. It provides async I/O, connection pooling, load‑balancing, retries, prepared statements, batch execution, row streaming, and an object‑mapper, making it suitable for developers building scalable, data‑intensive services on Node.js.
