bip173 is a small JavaScript library that implements the Bech32 (BIP‑173) encoding and decoding scheme used for Bitcoin addresses and other blockchain data. It provides functions to convert buffers to Bech32‑words, encode them with a human‑readable prefix, and decode back into the original prefix and word array, targeting developers who need a simple, MIT‑licensed reference implementation of BIP‑173 in Node.js or the browser.
