skip‑regex is a tiny, zero‑dependency JavaScript library that scans a source string from a given slash character and returns the index just after the literal regular‑expression literal, or a fallback if the slash does not start a regex. It’s intended for tooling—such as linters, minifiers, or comment‑removal utilities—that need fast, accurate detection of regex literals in JavaScript‑like code, and works in Node, bundlers, and browsers with TypeScript typings.
