SOFA Bolt Node is a pure‑JavaScript implementation of the SOFABolt RPC transport protocol. It provides stream‑based encoder/decoder classes that handle Bolt v1 and v2 packet framing, optional CRC32 integrity checks, and multiple serialization formats (Hessian, Hessian2, Protobuf), enabling Node.js services to send and receive RPC requests, responses and heartbeats over TCP. The library is aimed at developers building high‑performance, cross‑language RPC services that need to interoperate with Alibaba’s SOFA ecosystem.
