vas is a lightweight framework for building composable client‑server APIs that communicate over pull‑streams (WebSockets). It lets developers define services as simple data‑structures—manifest, methods, permissions, authentication and HTTP handlers—and then automatically generates matching client and server endpoints, making it easy to create database‑agnostic, functional, and extensible micro‑services. It’s aimed at Node.js developers who want a functional, stream‑based alternative to typical REST/GraphQL stacks.
