The `url-parser` library is a URL parsing tool designed for the Advanced REST Client, offering a relaxed interface that doesn't throw errors for invalid URLs, making it ideal for use in request editors. It provides properties like `protocol`, `host`, `path`, `searchParams`, and `anchor` for easy URL manipulation. Note that this project is deprecated and has been replaced by the `arc-url` module.
