PortfolioOS is a local-first financial operating system designed for personal finance tracking, FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) analysis, and market intelligence. It's aimed at privacy-conscious individuals who want to manage their investments, run sophisticated retirement simulations, and analyze market data without cloud storage or credential sharing. The system combines portfolio tracking, Monte Carlo FIRE simulations across five retirement types, and continuous macro market data analysis with LLM-powered insights, all running locally on the user's machine. Built with Electron, React, and Python analytics, it's currently in early development and not ready for production use.
