**Mil Trescientos Treinta y Nueve** is an animated data visualization project that maps 1,339 documented cases of violence against journalists in Mexico between December 2012 and December 2016. The project uses hand-drawn animation sequences to represent different types of violence—such as kidnapping, threats, and homicide—creating a geographic cartography of these incidents. This was developed as part of a data visualization workshop during the Animasivo festival in Mexico City, under the theme "Imaginar es Resistir" (Imagining is Resisting).
