eleventy‑dev‑server is a lightweight, modern local web server that provides hot‑reloading and optional DOM‑diff updates for any static site or web‑development workflow. It ships bundled with Eleventy v2+ but can also be installed and run standalone via its CLI to serve any directory, making it useful for front‑end developers who need a simple, fast development server without a full framework.
